end of a queue question

Featured Replies

Q: why is it that in Pattaya and elsewhere the fastest, stupidest drivers are most often at the end of a traffic queue ?

The lights for example at Tesco on Suk are a testimony

Discuss and explain

Can you explain this "testimony"

So not to insult the OP but if OP sees they are in the end that would mean he is behind them? So they not in the end, he/she is

Good one. Indeed he seems to be talking about himself.

ah but if the OP was in a CRV and could see over the several cars in front and also behind then that would be a solution maybe

Wow OP has a special CRV that is not only higher than the trucks and minivans but also has eyes in the back of the head ;)

quite correct - it's an Estonian 2015 'R4' model with twin interior rearview mirrors (amazing vehicle really and unique to Thailand).

Also if the OP is still moving and has good eyesight to see stationary cars in front then he cant be at the end of a queue and must be looking at the end of the queue (including that last fast driver who overtook)

correct ?

no need to just check any dictionary for your answer

Think the OP probably stands / sits with a clip-board at the roadside logging erratic manoevres with binoculars.

Nah, a selfie stick out the window

Which "end" - front or back end........?

How do you determine stupidest - what are your criteria?

Being pedantic there are no lights at Tesco on Suk - they are at the junction with Thrappasit with The Outlet Mall on the corner......

I would far rather understand why a mod has not yet moved this to The Pub...........smile.pngwhistling.gif

Q. Where is this famed elsewhere place? And do Bibles work in Thailand for a testimony? Discuss and Explain.

The drivers at the front of the traffic light queue are those that didn't have the nerve to follow the 5-6 others who went through on red.

They also don't have the nerve to move off quickly when the lights change to green, figuring that there will probably be 5-6 cars coming through on red from the other direction.

Not stupidity, just driving according to the (unwritten) rules of the road in Pattaya.
