BANGKOK: -- When waiting for a bus, isn't it better to know which bus to hop on instead of looking at a nice photo of frozen food?

A new online petition is calling for Bangkok Metropolitan Administration to replace the adverts at all bus stops with a useful bus guide and map.

Even locals need to do research when they take the bus to an unfamiliar area, otherwise, they can only rely on a brief moment to read the sign on a moving bus and decide quickly if they will hop on it.

Seems logical. And a good idea.

But those at the trough pocketing the ad revenue aren't gonna like this... wai2.gif

Spot on.

Convenience for users is not high on the list in Thailand.

How about some hooks for clothes, bags etc in public toilets while they're at it.

Haha, I do that reading the signs on the side as the bus grinds to a halt thing too tongue.png This would be waaaaaaay more useful
