It's been rubbish here for several days again. For a while I was getting good speeds from servers based in France, but now even they have become like escargots. :)

Still complete crap. Anybody else still having problems?

Currently terrible download rates to Germany. 1.5 Mbit/s (!). Upload faster than download (2.6).

Much better to UK (about 8 Mbit/s down).

An unpredictable mess.

Variations are very high.

ToT fibre Khon Kaen.

So it does not seem's to be a local Pattaya problem.

I am still on the search for the ultimate reliable test method...

Used a German webmail provider, sent an email with 10 MB attachment to my yahoo webmail.

Upload to German webmail silly slow (about 0.5 Mbit/s).

Very certain that data is actually hosted in Germany.

Download attachment from yahoo webmail reasonable, about 5 Mbit/s.

But no idea where the yahoo stuff actually comes from.

I don't understand this at all. I'm currently trying to download from two French sites and one is normal speed (+/-150 KB/s) while the other is crawling along at 10 KB/s. All the other sites I've tried, regardless of location, are also down at the 5 KB/s - 15 KB/s speed. Complete rubbish.
