Yeah I know...

But unless I missed something it looks like standard, central Thai to me.

So not sure if you're after books learning Thai (of which there are plenty), or books learning Isan (of which there are only a few)

I am unclear which dialect these words are and was just assuming these words were issan .

Me personally , I would like to learn standard central Thai first , then tackle issan later .

I once found some study notes online where it was very easy to learn the Thai word (written in English ) then the English meaning . I can no longer source this info and was just looking for anything to help , where its not going to cost me too much .

my girlfriend teaches me a lot but , for some reason I think she is not very patient in her approach , not sure if that's her personality or just her education level. At the end of the day I'm keen to learn .

I have tried to translate Isan, its been frustrating. I'm wondering if someone can shed some light and help me with this?Maybe a members wife or girlfriend.I would appreciate it tremendously . From what I understand about some of the text. the subject matter is with a older Isan women that is trying to give advise to a younger male with job recommendations and counseling ,because the male has been having problems with his wife..It also appears the male thinks of himself as quite funny and life is whatever because of the 555(ha ha ha).Is their anything else that I'm missing? That's a tonne of text to translate. I don't know if someone will bother taking the time to translate it all for you, as it'd take quite a while, particularly as it's public facebook comments (Your copy/paste also included the link to the facebook pages you copied the text from, so maybe modify your post to edit those out).

Also although they initially start in Isaan (Or at least have a lot of "Bo"s & "Pus-sow"s etc), they later switch to Thai (Or at least I can understand large amounts of it, and my Isaan is pretty basic), so if you run the latter part through google translate you might get a general feel for what they're talking about (Some of it is quite cryptic compared to the real meaning, but it'll give you a rough idea anyway).

From what I was reading though, a lot of it is pretty mundane stuff e.g. about waking up late and going shopping and stuff like that, also there is a job advertised in the last picture that you copy/pasted from, and it's just listing requirements for the job (e.g. Grade 9 education or better, as well as being 155cm+ tall, less than 75kg & aged 18-40, all things you could never ask in western countries, but are standard fare over here lol).
