So they walked in a busy tourist-area, got driven into by a motocycle and than stabbed. Then read what this reader posted in the newspaper.

I was there. The knife injuries was mainly on the man's belly on the left side. He had already lost a lot of blood when I came to the place. Had a first aid kit with me and gave CPR but it was too late. While I gave mouth to mouth someone stole my handbag. It's hard to have hope for humanity sometimes

Trust me, we are Thai.facepalm.gif

Just the look - thinks he is a hard man. See how he gets on in prison.

He'll be with friends and others he knows. It isn't difficult for many of Thailand's worst criminals. They have the connections to get by. It's tough for the poor kids, the elderly, the mentally ill, the drug addicts etc. Phuket's prison is just a meeting place for its hardcore thugs.

I've seen that look on many a face here .

The look on the face of the punk on the left says - "Yeah, I killed someone, so what? It was only a farang."

Patong is full of people like this. It permeates through from tuk tuk drivers, so called security guards to wanna be hard men. As long as there are tourists to leach off of, this will continue with certain predictability.

They look like they don't give a <deleted>. i feel sorry for the victim and the girl who come to his aid only to have her hand bag stolen.

Exactly ... I was quite saddened to read that the Swedish lady who attemped first aid and CPR had her bag stolen ... scum

The report says about the murdurer: "Even though Somkit came to help me, I realized I was not going to win the fight because both tourists were stronger than us so I decided to use the weapon". We all know that most international tourists (Westeners and North Africans) are stronger than locals. Just not going into a fight is the best option, as they are unmanly cowards to whether outnumber you or use a weapon in a fist fight.

Patong is trying hard to take first prize as the <deleted> of the earth. I keep telling everyone I know. "Keep away from Phuket, particularly Patong". If you value your life.

"they have also been charged with attempted murder and carrying weapon into a public place without a permit"

So carrying a knife into a public place requires a permit? There goes my box cutter...

I always thought I've seen it all here and things can't get worse. And along comes something so unbelievably ... I don't even have a word for it! Unreal.

R.I.P

May they rot in jail .

"Thainess" knows no boundaries.

Their lust for baht exceeds morality.

Business people wear suits and neck ties to show their peers they are serious professionals.

For the same reason hardcore criminals have their necks tattooed.

OK, two Thai jerks are on the way to prison and one drunken French Arab is dead. I have no sympathy with any of the parties. Looks like the world is getting bit cleaner every day biggrin.png

I expect they will both be already be out on a low bail. I don't really expect they will serve much jail time ... if any ...

New motto: Thailand, the Land You're Dying to Visit...

"Come to Phuket. It's worth dying for."

You're telling me there's something somewhat similar to the Geneva Conventions in fighting? Wigga please!

If you do get into a fight, you fight to win (survive)...by any means possible.

This will happen:

1. They spend some weeks in prison.

2. Then they will get out on a ridiculous small bail.

3. Charges will dropped to "carry weapon in public place".

4. After first court hearing in 2019 they appeal the 3 year sentence.

5. Supreme court in 2025 reduces the sentence to community work.

Any bets? thumbsup.gif
