Visa For Saud Arabia. Anyone Can help me please

Featured Replies

I am going to Saudi Arabia for a few days on business. I have a Saudi Arabian company sponsoring me and will send relevant paperwork. But they are asking where to send visa and sponsor letter to. Has anyone done this in Bangkok and could help me with advice. I can not seem to find the embassy on google map and there seems to be limited info on how to go about it. The process, how, where, how long and what I have to do.

Any advice would be greatly received. Thank you.

Thanks guys. Appreciated. Yes easy to find. I got that far ! But was wondering if anyone had gone through the visa process to Saudi before. Try calling them tomorrow. The issue with here, is the slightly problematic diplomatic relationship between Thailand and Saudi Arabia. They broke off relationships for many years. So kind of hoping someone had recently done it here and any issues or tips etc. Cheers

Are you a Thai ?

When I worked in Saudi my employer (sponsor) made all the arrangements for the visa etct within SA. When the formalities were complete my local SA Embassy was notified and they in turn contacted me.

Ii was only required that I presented the passport, in person, to the SA Embassy for the visa to be issued. All the paperwork was undertaken in Saudi.

Thanks Johnatong that is really helpful. No I am English. Okay starting to understand the process. Appreciated. I actually just heard back from the company.

The company said they will have their HR Department issue the visa from the foreign ministry, The foreign ministry send it to the closest Saudi Consulate where I am, they provide me with a letter indicating the visa issue date and number and I go to the Saudi Consulate and stamp it to your passport. I was probably worrying unnecessarily but they emailed me and said they could not find the consulate in Bangkok. I presume because of the historic issues Thailand and Saudi had diplomatically. So I was not sure if Saudi still had an active consulate or embassy here, due to the complications with the politics. I know it was closed for many years. I will try calling the number tomorrow. Fingers crossed they are still active here in Bangkok.

Thanks for all the tips.

whistling.gif I worked in Saudi for 3 U.S companies in the late 1970's and the early 1980's.

I remember the required paperwork came for those companies personnel sections ....for one I had to take that paperwork to the Saudi consulate in Houston, Texas to get a Saudi visa.

But that was along time ago now. and my memory oft that has faded away now.

The Agency I still use it located in the same building as the Embassy. Shareef1400 Opens 09-30.Very helpful

What is important is type of Visa you are using to stay in Thailand.

Good luck.

I need to get a work visit visa for Saudi.  I'm a UK citizen and am in Thailand on a non O visa.

My employer has never arranged a visa for someone living outside of their home country before, so I need to try and figure this out myself.

Does anyone know the process for applying for the visa from outside their home country?

I called the Saudi embassy and they said that it can be done.  Have to use the agency mentioned in this thread.

As long as the letter of invitation states the visa is being sent to Bangkok it's very straight forward.
