Retirement Visa Extension/Rollover

Can someone please comment or guide please with current latest situation..

i have been residing here for past 8 years in Phuket.

In the past my wife and I have done our Retirement Visa extensions at Phuket Immigration.

previously we only had to

1. complete their forms

2. supply a few photos of each

3. copy marriage certificate

4. bank letter confirming required thb been in account for past 3 months

5. banks statements for past 3 months showing funds been in account

6. various copies of pages in passport of last entry, last visas etc and whatever they pick up on..

i decided to maybe use a legal or consulting firm to do roll over this time...

they asking me for which i have never had to give before..... especially no.3

1 - blue book (copy)

2 - land title (copy)

3 - and Sale and Purchasing documents showing i own this Villa

is this the norm now or if you go personally they don't require 1 to 3 or they need some or all of 1 to 3 now..

sorry i should have added yes i own my villa and have resided here since arriving in Phuket..

I think the 3 documents are to show your residence, if you can't produce those you can use a utility bill such as electric bill. If you have bought the villa in a company name then the utility bill is likely in your company name, then you need to show the company paper .

Why are you all of a sudden using a consultant when you had no problem doing the extension yourself previously??

I extend my visa the way you did before. The only proof of residence they need is a Google map lf your current address!

They need proof of residence.

If you rent your residence, the owner has to register you. You get a piece of paper stapled into the back of your passport.

If you own your residence, you will need the Tabien Bahn (blue book) and a bill with your name and address on it. Not sure about 2 and 3.
