hi guys,

so i started my new saltwater fish aquarium.

so before my friend had one and he bought some of the stuff in kammtien in the shogun shop if im not mistaken. recently he told me they closed the saltwater section for fish and live rocks and told me there is a small fish shop for saltwater that have big vareity of saltwater fish and other creatures, corals and live rocks.

he said the shop is near big c supercenter near a gasoline station on the big intersection before the dhara dhevi hotel. he not long ago went back to visit his country so hes busy and i cant reach him.

i was with him in that shop before some time but cant remember the way.

is there anyone here that knows this shop and also know if they will be open or not in number 11 this month as its near the songkran holiday?

any help will be appreciated.

It's nowhere near Big C Super, but it IS close to the Dara Dhevi. You'll find it on the north side of San Khampaeng Rd (1006), just west of the turnoff to D.D. I've only been in there a couple of times, and although I don't recall seeing any saltwater fish when I was there, that wasn't really what I was looking for at the time. The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful, and will certainly be able to point you in the right direction in any case. No idea whether or not he'll be open during the holiday.

thanks for the try but im confidience 100% that my friend told me its near the big c super center near a gasoline station which i see in the map if im searching for big c center. its a small shop so easy to miss

Most of the Aquarium shops beside the Big C have closed down,they seem to

be clearing the whole area around there, there is another shop near Shogun

Koi, that is supposed to sell marines,its a bit further down than Shogun,away

from the entrance to tesco/lotus, just look around the small shops there,

I know notink about fish, but walked past there earlier this week. Presuming we're talking about the same shop, I came across it as I exited the carpark heading into the market area, huge place on the corner which looks like an even huger extension is being built onto it. I think it's all going to part of the same shop because I noticed a few sacks of something with the name of the shop inside. They've just got the windows in so must be at lockup stage - obviously when I think about it or they wouldn't be leaving the sacks inside.

Didn't take much notice as tropical fish aren't something I've ever had an interest in.

there were actually 2 that sold saltwater stuff.i am trying to find them too.after songkran.the smaller of the 2 was called oranda.there is a facebook page in which it seems they are now at the gasstation proper.

found the shop

there is a big blue gasoline station i think its PPT company with 7/11 in it.

there are 2 shops that an old thai lady run.

1 of them is equipment for saltwater aquarium and on the other 1 you got fish, live rock, corals and more.

if you want a specific fish then you can order from her and she will get it for you in about 1 week.

its the biggest gasoline station before big c super center and you need to go INSIDE he gasoline station.
