Ash cloud appearing behind my house every day?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a house around Bangkok's Prawet district and I have a problem with a huge smoke cloud appearing behind the housing area pretty much on daily basis now. The smoke is not the worst thing but the huge peaces of falling ash that mess up my terrace and garden and of course inside the house if you happen to forget to close the windows. The peaces coming down look like burnt bamboo or something sometimes up to 10 cm long and they were even burning on Songkran day so it hardly is any sort of business or factory...more like some idiots doing it for fun.

So of course what I would like to know is if there's any laws or regulations against this kind of big scale burning (it's not just a little bonfire but a big cloud of ash on the sky)? The housing area affected by the smoke is by Property Perfect so I would imagine that they might be able to do something about it.

Is there some authority or maybe the land department or similar that I could contact by myself it the property can not help?

Thanks!

Your estate should have a property management team that should get things sorted out.
