Northern hospitals to get prepared for haze-affected patients

BANGKOK, 22 April 2016 (NNT) - Public Health Minister Piyasakon Sakolsattayatorn said that there are still a few areas in the haze-affected provinces of Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai where the PM10 values remain at unhealthy levels.

The symptoms include an eye irritation, cough, difficulty breathing, chest pain, headache, fatigue, nausea and irregular heartbeat.

Public Health Ministry Permanent Secretary Sophon Mekthon said that the ministry will distribute 200,000 hygienic masks to eight northern provinces while local hospitals will prepare pharmaceutical products for patients around the clock.

And as in past years there has been absolutely nothing ,bar talk, done to combat it.

And as in past years thousands suffer young and old alike.

Do the powers that be really care if the pesky northerners with their red leanings kill each other off?

... and don't forget, the FERANG Health Insurance Fund, introduced by the previous government has been ditched by the current government, so

the long suffering Ferang can Cough-up even More Money when they have to visit a hospital.

They could start by teaching everyone how to use the correct mask. Wouldn't take but 5 mins of the PM's time while he tapped on TV.
