BANGKOK:-- Four workmen were hurt, one seriously, when scaffolding on the public concourse at the Challenger arena in Muang Thong Thani collapsed Friday afternoon.

Several workers were fixing a large sign advertising an upcoming event when the structure fell down throwing the workers to the ground, reports Manager.co.th.

Worasit Jaiharn, 38, was seriously hurt and sent to Krung Thai hospital. Three other men, all workers for D-60 Co Ltd were sent to hospital but were not in a serious condition.

The workers were fixing a hoarding in four sections when the scaffolding collapsed beneath them. Police are investigating the incident.

No members of the public were hurt.

In future stick to the bamboo scaffolding

It hurts less when it falls on you

If you are on it then think of the experience as a jungle ride thumbsup.gif

Police are investigating the incident.

Better to get an expert opinion from a municipal health and safety engineer.....Err, what am I thinking of? Sorry, I'm a bit woozy today.....
