I know what you mean. I have a Honda Click, I asked at the Honda dealer in CM and they said it must be ordered from Bangkok.

But last time I was in Phuket I could easily find it at a Supercheap store and I am happy with it (145Baht).

In CM I would try, but it's just a suggestion, the specialized shop which is at the beginning of Changphuak Rd, on the right side

(coming from the moat and going to superhighway)

That would be the Helmet to Home store. He sometimes has them in but the sure bet is the Honda parts store Sangchai Panich on the road to the bus station and just after the motorbike dealership.

Many colours and sizes, as most scooters have a rather large seat (And being very comfortable too) Id suggest going for the XL size. Just 120baht in the SP shop

And have at sangchai @ 120b

Can you give a map reference for this shop, please?

I bought the one I'm using now at Helmet-to-Home, but it's been two years and it's beginning to rip around the edges. Time for a new one, but this shop is out of them right now.

Thanks

They also prevent you from burning the heck of your thighs if you bike is left in the sun.

Remember the cars when they had vinyl seats? Bloody torture in the summer

I was considering, that when I get my new cover, cutting up the old one and using it on my handle grips!

These days the grips are almost painful to take hold of after the bike has been sitting out in the sun for an hour or two.

The mesh does such a great job keeping my butt from burning, I figure it could do the same for my hands! I used to use

neoprene grips for that purpose when I lived in Japan, but I can't find the right size here.

You could be onto a very lucrative marketing idea there!

After-market grips are a big item in Japan, and you can find entire isles of them in the larger bike shops. All different styles, materials, and configurations.

Here in Thailand, most of what I see are simply 'replacement' grips being sold.
