Car history Check?

Featured Replies

Currently looking at a 2nd hand car purchase in a private sale.

Car is a late 2013 model, so is still under the manufacturers 5 year warranty.

I have inspected the car - Good condition, nothing obviously amiss

I have spoken to the dealer, and they have shared that all is clean on their records of the car after 3 services, with some minor warranty work done.

I have spoken to the current insurer who has insured the vehicle for the last 3 months - no claims.

Previous insurance company is unknown at this stage.

The only thing niggling me at the back of my mind is; What if the car has had (major) repairs outside of the dealer network?

I would assume (maybe incorrectly?!) that Thai insurance companies share information.

Is there a way for me to check the insurance history?

TIA
