Desktop.

This appears to be the case with the Bangkok and Chiang Mai News & Events forums, haven't tested any others.

edit: no need for anybody to let me know that it works fine with tapatalk or on the General forum etc. etc....

But it appears you can get around it by:

1. Creating a new post in a forum that does allow attachments

2. Uploading the attachments

3. Not posting the post

4. Creating a new post in the intended forum

5. Inserting the attachments using the My Media icon

Can you post a screenshot of the reply box where you cannot make an attachment?

There is no Attachment option available at all, only Add Reply and Preview Post. So it has been disabled for those forums but not clear why. However the Image icon works for off site linked images.

Reduced image for easier viewing.

So it has been disabled for those forums but not clear why.

Given that users can't start threads in the News & Events forums, maybe it's permissions-related?

Yes, that is what I was alluding to with disabled, that is permissions disabled. Perhaps when the permissions were set for that to allow only mods/admins to create content that permission got caught in the crossfire. smile.png

Sounds likely. Ironically it didn't even work!

That is indeed irregular. Logged in as a regular member (Maestro_2), I get the same problem, but not when logged in as Maestro, both with Chrome and with Firefox. I'm alerting Jonathan to get the techies to look at it.
