Confuscious
Thailand is now in a worse state than Burma or any Asian country. The people who cried for a coup and admired Thugsuban can be happy now. A lot of TV members fit that category.

NongKhaiKid
Over the last few days the BBC has been reporting a lot from N. Korea including one of their own staff being expelled because they didn't like his reporting. I believe it was said he had disrespected Marshal Kim. phoenixdoglover
The current government isn't even a particularly competent repressive government. They routinely show up at the houses of people they want to take into custody, only to find they are not home; or worse, some housemaid or relative tells them to come back in a few days, "cuz, we're busy right now". This is the only humor I can find in the human rights situation. The rest of it is just a well of sadness for Thailand.
Eric Loh
Knew right along from the beginning when the junta announced the campaign to rid mafia, criminals and influential dark figures that this only cover for a purge of their political enemies. Baerboxer
Over the last few days the BBC has been reporting a lot from N. Korea including one of their own staff being expelled because they didn't like his reporting. I believe it was said he had disrespected Marshal Kim. Off topic - but did you see where he took a photo with his phone of a portrait of Kim when he was an infant. The tour guide or whatever the woman was went beserk and through a real wobbly. She was angry, hysterical and livid that someone date take a photo and apparently cut some of the painting off in the photo. She grabbed his phone and stormed off muttering about "that's are super duper wonderful leader, how dare you". Nutters, brainwashed nutters. Now that is a frightening country. mtls2005
He got out as he was informed in advance ?????.Also the Soldiers didn't do their job well. They should have had him under surveillance etc etc? It is weird, at least they got the right house. Just waiting for them to bust in to a Yellow/DEM/PDRC house by accident. It's almost like a KFC delivery service where the Junta chain of command phones in their daily target list and then dispatches the troops to round up those on the "wrong" side. I thought they assembled their "Influential Persons" (aka political opponents) hit list ages ago? Seems like they would have an operational plan for rounding them up in some militarily-tactical fashion?
