White rally

What is it about?

these days i see banners avery 50 meters along Sukhumvit about white rally, and they have some government logos on them.

As usual white rally is the only English language on the banners, so I'm unable to read what's about, but I have such a strange feeling that it has something to do with a protest.

Anyway, if it is an event and they get 1 visitor for every banner they placed along Sukhumvit, then it will be very busy.

No idea if it has to do something with the white masks, since " white rally " and further down the banner " Pattaya white rally " are the only English words on the banner.

I'll try to take a picture next time i'm in Pattaya, but for sure someone else must have noticed them, since there are plenty and they are large and easily notable.

It's not more colour politics is it? After the red shirts, the blue shirts, the green shirts, the black shirts, et al, maybe someone's decided it's time for the white shirts. rolleyes.gif

The group that recently protested in Bangkok were white shirts.

Some "fun" and "activity" event taking place on the area of Pattaya City School #8.

Likely some Thai pop, "idols" singing etc.?

Wednesday, May 18th, 12:30 to 17:00h.

Maybe I can find where this school is.

Quite clear that it is not directed to foreigners at all.

Yes it looks like some Tv 15 minute of fame from one of the "Idol" shows will be coming to Pattaya

along with some other invited guest artists ( none named )

At the bottom of the poster it says

Pattaya "white" combine forces to build a white city of Pattaya ! ?????????????

Maybe someone can use his zoom lens to make the two logos on top of the banner become readable tongue.png

Could help to find out what the motivation behind is.

Above post sounds plausible.

A "drug free schools" campaign?
