How much longer is the Russian going to put up with this ? Chelsea and Mou embarrassing themselves nearly week in and week out. They've clearly lost the plot.

Sherwood at Villa likely to be sent packing soon and I wouldn't be surprised if Mou might join him hitting the bricks.

In spite of the cobblers with Mourinho getting banished to the stands and Matic getting sent off, I thought that was a much better performance than of late. To have the fortitude to fight back to level the score with ten men, was good to see. West Ham are flying now and, in Payet, they've nabbed a gem

. The defence looked sturdier although Zouma was crapping himself when Payet faced him up. He's starting to put his hands behind his back like Ivanovic. Whoever told him to do that should be sacked without pay. Willian was the stand out player covering every blade of grass and Hazard didn't hide, even though he's obviously way off his best. Costa was utterly useless and should have been hauled off at half time. If he can't get the better of a couple of journeymen like Collins and Tomkins, then he doesn't deserve to be on the pitch.

I thought the Mikel substitution for Fabregas was spot on. Mikel has his detractors, but I thought he brought a semblance of calm to the midfield. Fabregas, again, was slow and laborious and got caught in possession time after time. When you think about the playmakers in other teams like Ozil, Payet and Silva, he's nowhere near that level. One thing we've got to stop doing is offloading the ball to players like Willian, Hazard and Ramires while they've got half the opposition wrapped round them. If they lose the ball in those situations, the counter attack is on and, quite frankly, Fabregas isn't going to do anything about that and Matic's confidence has been shattered by Mourinho to the extent that he's a mere shadow of the player he was.

Quite agree with your assessment of the team performance and they may have well deserved a point. But IMO you are underplaying the Mourinho factor. When a team desperately needs to be united and pulling together he continues to act like a spoilt child. Its a massive distraction.

He is slowly white anting some players confidence while others know that there future is relativley secure as they have a contract and an income most would only dream of even if they are benched

His departure to the stands was only a matter of time. I'm sure the refereess have privately discussed his behaviour and the fact that they are not prepared to put up with him constantly mouthing off,

Likewise the FA.

So where does that leave Chelsea as a club ? knowing that unless he walks, which is highly unlikely, he is likely to continue this log on the shoulder attitude and the team suffers.

Its still early days but anything less than a top 4 position would leave the Russian only one option.

On the contrary Sparks, I didn't comment on Mourinho because I've slaughtered him so much in previous posts it gets monotonous. It's 100% his fault that we're in this mess because he couldn't bring himself to believe that, after the first three games, there were at least two players that were hopelessly out of form. Is it any coincidence that, since Ivanovic has been out of the side, our all round play has improved, notwithstanding the results? And the kick in the b*****ks was that Mourinho had the audacity to make him captain when he should have been benched. That did not go down at all well judging from reports, so is it any wonder that some of the team took the stance that 'if the manager doesn't care about the team, neither do we?'

Didn,t quite get the rub of the green yesterday..........buts that's life or (technology). Not easy playing tough opposition nearly every week when at least 25% of the team don't break out of 1st gear, but it is getting better. West Ham have got something to celebrate...........best squad they have had since.....well i don,t know when?

Makes for a very competitive league this year...........which No team is going to runaway with...

evenstevens was so cock sure only 2 months ago, slagging off all and sundry, while dropping his trousers for "The Special One". Now in the face of adversity, deafening silence.

stoney girl a pic , is that the best u could do,???now piss off fluffwit

bangcrap bob, mou over the last 13 yrs also ,has won approx 20 odd peices of silverware in four different countrys please tell E/S has any mngr beaten this, apart from fergy at m/u

toss out scrooge, old tyrant wenger, all mngers rarely pass the 3 yrs or so mark, these days incl your club loserpool

personally E/S would like mou, to see it out the season , but unless his team have great results against stoke (tuesday),and at the w/end against loserpool,i feel the door will be shown

and a caretaker mngr to complete the season, with pepe lined up for the job

if my crsytal ball is working, and mou gets the flick , imo he has given c/sea great service, got them on the map as a big club, 3 EPL titles plus a load of othersilverware in 6 or so seasons at the helm,is a

a very healthy return, therefore mou is still the special one for E/S,what ever happens to him in the future

i ask you b/b what has your club loserpool won during both mou,s spell at c/sea,or better still during romans ownership

you loserpool scousers, are living on a smell of old history glorycheesy.gif FULLSTOP

until my top 6 w/end review to arvo, its a beautiful morniing to all my readerssmile.png

Once City get their (best in the Prem by a mile) striker and their playmaker (almost as good as Oziltongue.png ) back they will distance themselves from the pack pretty quickly IMO.

Arsenal could keep pace if:

luck continues with injuries - for us Ramsey is the only damaging injury so far this season (last season we had 5 damaging injuries at this time)

Wenger gets one of the needed two world class signings in January. He probably won't.

You are right though in that the jostle for the other 3 CL places will be pretty fierce this year with Leicester, West Ham and Palace making for more watchable games than normal.

ose Mourinho: Chelsea manager charged by FA with misconduct

Jose Mourinho has been charged with misconduct by the Football Association over his language and behaviour in Chelsea's defeat by West Ham United.

Mourinho was sent to the stands after going to speak to referee Jon Moss in his room at half-time on Saturday.

Both clubs have been charged for failing to control their players and have until 29 October to respond.

Chelsea are already facing a £25,000 fine for receiving more than five bookings in the Premier League loss.

As well as the two yellow cards given to Nemanja Matic, Chelsea also had Cesar Azpilicueta, Willian, Cesc Fabregas, John Mikel Obi and Diego Costa booked at Upton Park.

Mourinho's assistant Silvino Louro was also dismissed during the match and has been charged with misconduct in relation to his behaviour in the technical area.

has it been reported what language he used? or does nobody know because english isn't his first language and all that?

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho facing stadium ban after telling referee Jon Moss: 'Arsene Wenger was right - you are ****ing soft!'

thanks for quoting it jack. prefer not to give that vile rag the clickthroughs.

interesting that he finally agrees with wenger about something at least.

It would seem Wenger is the clear winner in the mind games stakes then.

clap2.gif

he just has to wait to deliver the coup de grace now. when asked by a journalist his thoughts on mourinho's situation and what he is going through wenger can just say "i have no comment, to judge would feel intrusive, as though i were a voyeur or something".

While all us non-Chelsea fans are enjoying Maureen getting a taste of his own medicine - and long may it continue - if he survives sacking (think he will), Chelsea are only 8 points behind 5th place so I still expect a top 5 finish. City barely played well in any games last season (and caught up 9 points in one run) and came 2nd, so I can easily see 5th or above for Chelsea...too much quality not to get it together at some stage.

Maureen could do with taking a page out of Pellegrini's book - say nothing meaningful, keep calm, while sorting out the mess behind closed doors.

I've never seen the FOC (copyright Alan Pardew, 2015) get in this much of a mess though.

better still B/B. only nine points behind third place, and 28 games to go ,so a third place is a fair bet ,my calculations are PRESENTLY saving mou/s bacon

outside the top two,the rest are a load of shit, but it must start with a win against l/pool, to get c/sea . a step out of shitters ditchsmile.png
