Bamboo Prices

Anybody know the general price for un-split and split bamboo in various sizes, diameters and lengths?

What kind of bamboo? There are many.

I bought a big bundle of split 2m long bamboo sticks, each 3-8 cm wide, for 150BT. How many? Can't say but they made a nice bed and i still have many left to use.

From the wood/bamboo vendor on hiway 107, just passed the superhiway (200/400m) on the east side.

What I am looking for is a construction grade bamboo of approximately 3" (8cm) diameter x 104" 264cm, 30pcs.

And 3" (8cm) x 9'1 (277cm),15pc.

General pricing is OK, I just don't want to get gouged.

For 2inch diameter expect to pay 15-20baht for a 6m length.

For the 4inch diameter it will be nearer 50bt per metre.....to split a 4inch will cost 150bt to rip down a 3m length.

The 1inch bundles of circa 20length at 2.5m will be around 150bt but tgey are often quite bent and always full of bamboo beetle so they need a good soaking and spraying
