I am paying 1,284 baht each month for the 30/3 (30MB download, 3 MB upload) 3BB fiber optic here in Hang Dong District.

Was surprised to learn that my service has recently been upgraded to 100/10 at no additional charge.

3BB Customer Support regularly asks me for my Account Number, and then my current Internet speeds (3BB speed test).

What exactly is this speed test? Is it the domestic speed within Thailand? What about connecting to servers outside of Thailand?

Is this the best place to determine speeds?

What ideal speeds should I expect? Maximum? Minimum?

Try speedtest.net let it do the default test to BKK and then select NEW SERVER and try to somewhere a bit more in tune with your normal browsing habits.

Don't click on any of the links offering to speed up your computer etc!

What they want is the domestic test as below.

This show them that your circuit is operating properly or not.
