Storage directly at the airport is not an option (too expensive and lacks the space/time needed for the 2-hour bike assembly/disassembly). My plan after arrival at BKK airport: 1. Load the bike bag (with the bike inside) into my rental car at BKK airport. 2. Drive 10–50 km to the storage/assembly location. 3. Unpack and assemble the bike in dry, shaded place (about 2 hours). 4. Hand over the empty bag for storage. 5. Drive away (bike in the car, bag stays in storage).
