Migrant crisis: UK set to send second warship to Libya

LONDON: -- The UK is set to send another warship to the Mediterranean to help tackle people-smuggling and movements of arms in and out of Libya, officials say.

David Cameron told the G7 summit in Japan that the UK was ready to take an "active leadership role" in helping Libya deal with trafficking.

The UK currently has one survey vessel, HMS Enterprise, operating in the area.

They are going there to turn back boats , well i will believe that when i see it .

If they just go there to act as a taxi service to Italy, expect the Italians not to be impressed. If they take the illegals to the UK, expect the citizens to be less than impressed.

Take them back to Libya- it will be hard for the survivors, but it will stop those thinking about it if they know the way is closed ( as in Europe now ).

After all of Camerons cuts surely there is nothing left.

Hopefully they will start strafing and sinking the boats in Libyan ports before they set off.

(Preferably without immigrants on board, of course.)

The illegal economic migrants are NOT Libyan. They are just passing through.

No western country is trying to fix Libya, and yes, the west did destroy it. Typical gutless western governments of nowadays. Create a problem, and then walk away.
