What insurance cover do you have driving on them?

It's a new car, so you would need (if you are smart) 1st class full coverage insurance.

Thanks for your reply - we have had the new car 4 weeks now but still red plates. We paid for 1st class insurance but we do not pick that up until the car is registered. You cannot get the gov insurance until they register the car. What insurance do we have in the meantime?

You will have 1st class insurance.

Just call the insurer and ask them !
