Golly, not only do you have amazing knowledge of the situation in respect to Farang's girlfriends and their gay lovers, you would appear to be extraordinarily masochistic (or very cunning) to lay in wait and observe the proceedings. Compared to some Thai Visa experts, I must live an extraordinarily dull life. Who could possibly "know" such things? The same people who can't comprehend the difference between an extension of stay and a visa seem to have an extensive and intimate knowledge about the police, the crime underworld and the behavior of "countless" Thai people.

Compared to some Thai Visa experts, I must live an extraordinarily dull life. Who could possibly "know" such things? The same people who can't comprehend the difference between an extension of stay and a visa seem to have an extensive and intimate knowledge about the police, the crime underworld and the behavior of "countless" Thai people.

I live and work in LOS almost half of my lifetime. And in that time, I did see, experience and hear much more than your shallow mind could possibly fathom in ten lifetimes combined. Stick to restaurant, general interest or knitting forums, you'll most likely do better there.

Well, spotted, Lostmebike! If they were as patient in confrontations, all would be fine, but those Toms here in LOS are loose guns to put it mildly.

I didn't like them back then, when I was still free and always on the lookout for girls, since the Toms were hard to read competitors (and very, very patient as you wrote) and f%##@ng violent, especially towards their girlfriends, or should we better say their "self esteem pimp-up, look what I got slaves" as it appeared that very few of those girls who had Toms as "boyfriends" were neither happy nor in agreement.

Wait until that girl would tell the Tom she wants to quit (before "it" found a better "trophy") and all hell would break loose!

Anyway, the cops will soon catch up with them as they allegedly stole his motorbike (in his name or hers) and we will here the other side to the story.

Generally speaking the Thais are fairly forgiving and tolerant when it comes to farangs poor form and rudeness in Thailand. They let us get away with quite a fair bit IMO. Yesterday's Ovaltine crazy was just one example. The Thais served him his Ovaltine. In Oz he would have been told to <deleted>.

1) Tom Boy is a very old term and not specific to Thailand. A few centuries old. Peppermint Patty was even suggested to be a tomboy.

2) People have a bad habbit of presuming 'All' Thais, or 'All' Girls or 'All' Ladyboys or 'All' Tomboys are bad when an article is posted about one of them doing something bad. The reality is, not many articles are posted everytime they do something good, let alone do something of no consequence at all.

You see one article about one tomboy. Divide that by the 10,000 (or whatever) tom boys out there. This means 0.01% of Tom Boys are bad. This should not suggest this is typical Tom Boy behavior

Sadly, good news is not news, so we hardly read about all the good things that go on.

On a side note: A tall butch ladyboy wearing lipstick on only half the upper lip is an image I will never forget.... (caught her putting her face on at work).
