I cannot email the message to you since it was sent to me at Thai Visa and is in my inbox - you are welcome to look at the message in my inbox if you want to, happy to give you my password if you need it.

All I can add to the above is that it came from Thai Visa member Damien 39.

Actually he indicates it was an e-mail and there is a possiblity it is a spoofed e-mail address rather then actually from Thaivisa.com. Need to see the full header information including IP to know for sure. I receive those often (spoofed address) for my domain where they use a random name in the 'from' field and add my domain to it making it look like it came from my server.

He says it is in the Thaivisa site and has no headers so believe it may be PM. And there was a person sending such material by PM several months ago who was banned so would not show up in search - but I don't recall the name.

After reading the OP's 2nd post it does sound like he is referring to a PM. Strange, because I can't find a Damien 69 either and don't see how you can spoof a PM 'from' field. Also remember that past topic from a member getting spam from TV, will try and find it.

Two Points:

I'm sorry that this so very late but I have only now just discovered this part of the site and have only just seen the exchange of messages between you. Just to clarify, the sender was DAMIAN39, (not Damien39) membership number 35,981. Additionally the message was in my INBOX hence no headers etc. Sincere apologies for the confusion and delay.

Secondly, should you not delete the original message otherwise you give him free advertising on your site since the message shows his hotmail email address! If I was purist about it all you could be accused of aiding him which I realize you are not?

As Jai Dee says, he has been banned and impossible for him to PM anyone now. He also has no posts in the general forum to delete. I supect the PM you saw was an old one - do you have a date it was sent to you?

Yes, the message was received in my in box on 5 October.

Hopefully, other members will also read this thread, it makes a very good point: if you receive a Spam PM from another member please forward it on to a moderator or admin immediately.
