steffi
Anybody sell anything for cutting leaves high up in trees? Wife's father just fell off a ladder and almost seriously injured himself.

daveAustin
They do those in lots of hardware places, including Homepro I believe. 100 baht ish. Little thing, about 10" across with a hole for poking length of bamboo. /as above // Edited June 19, 2016 by daveAustin
Crossy
Wifey has something like this https://www.directtoshop.com/product/71533 I'm sure it wasn't as expensive as the HomePro one, but it wasn't 100 Baht either. Came from the local farm / hardware shop.
MJCM
We have approx the same as Crossy showed, but not as fancy. But we only bought the saw and fitted a Bamboo stick (about 2.5 meters long) to it. Costs less then 500 THB and that was for the saw
cornishcarlos
Ours is similar to Crossys, came from Thai Watsadu and cost about 300 baht I think ! Had 2 now as the springs are not the most robust... We attached a 3m length of bamboo as a handle..
Daffy D
Similar to all the above Orange color "Solo" brand from Homepro or Thai Watsudo can't remember which or recall the price. Extends to about 10ft and has worked great for a some years.
samuijimmy
The type Crossy has (or wifey!) tends to get caught up in the branches, from my experience. Better to have one of each...saw as shown by MJCM and the pull type... depending on what and how much needs to be pruned.. Do not force the pull type it , especially on larger branches (about 1" max ) It will be done with, very quickly. Poor quality metal on the cheap ones, even the blade. riceyummm
I believe that is illegal in Thailand without a permit, 12" maximum blade length is legal without a permit. That has to do with wood poaching. I'm about to open a thread about professional chainsaw sharpening, I've seen advice that says to get it done professionally after each five home sharpenings. Anyone else hear that? Anyone know of a professional (preferably machine) sharpening service in the Khon Kaen area?
