Time of IELTS English test at Bangkok centre

Featured Replies

Hi guys , a question , we are about to book a test for Bangkok , however we want to book a TB test for the same day in Silom to save two trips to the capital , does anyone know the times of the English test ? Our TB test is set in stone now at 8am , we cannot change it or forfeit applying for 6 months , so we want to do TB test in Silom then get across town to landmark hotel for English test which we are told is AM , I know you might say they will tell you when you pay and book , well we provisionally booked the day 14th July but until we pay we have no idea of the time , you see what I mean ? If we pay 8900 then they say is 9am well we lose the money , arrrghg , I know what you could say , don't book it the same day , any help so appreciated ,

They ask you tto sign in by 8:30AM to begin the test around 9AM. If you are late you lose your registration fee.

You could take the English test at IDP which is also in Silom. She'll get an appointment time for the test. It should all be done within 30 minutes as the test itself only takes 18 minutes.

By the way do make sure she's booked to take the IELTS Life Skills A1 test if it's for a Settlement visa. As far as I know, the test on 14 July is the Academic/General Training IELTS which is for university entrance. The Life Skills should be on 15 July.

The TB test can drag on. You have to go to the IOM building first then to the hospital and then back to IOM. The first XRay is not always right and from what I read when my wife needed hers, occasionally, a second Xray is necessary. It took four or five hours back in February. It also depends on the hospital they send you to. The Christian Hospital is the closest.
