June 27, 20169 yr I am leaving Thailand and want to give my old car as a gift to step son. What steps are needed? If there are forms, maybe there is a link I can use. I have insurance that will have some time before they need to be renewed. I am in Phuket.
June 27, 20169 yr If I remember rightly you just need a transfer form from the transport office in Phuket town. A copy of your passport signed and that's about it . Your step son will go with that form and sort out the transfer/pay the fees.
June 28, 20169 yr Plus residence certificate from immigration to sell! If I'm not mistaken Alan has a workpermit, so certificate would not be required. He will need to give his stepson a power of attorney form, also available at DLT, or he can join him at the DLT.
