If one Thai citizen dies on the work in an accident, 52 years old and the company pays out only 20,000 Bath to the family, wife and two small children. Has Government any kind of insurance ? or some support schemes.

This happened in Bangkok for 1 week ago at a construction site.

I have seen this situation.

For a full time staff of a services company, where the person makes about 10,000 + - depending on performance and work completed and pays Social Security and the company pays Social Security, and sadly he suffers an accident while performing his job. He was in hospital for a very long time (6 months) where heroic efforts were undertaken, and expenses were incurred. He was in a facility (hospital) in the SS network and once it was cleared SS picked up the tab, although the company paid about 75,000 up front at the beginning which was never recovered.

Social Security incurred an expense of approximately 1 MB Baht in total, and the company's contribution to the 'welfare fund' was adjusted. The algorithm they use takes into account money paid out by SS and money paid in by the company and over the next few years the company got hit with a huge increase until almost all of the money was recovered. That is right. The company had to pay the expense.
