The 15 of July is a Friday and the 16th is a Saturday. Not saying there may be an official opening on the 15 BUT immigration is never open on a Saturday or Sunday anywhere in Thailand. You need to come up with better dates.

I am so sorry, I must come up with better dates. Arrrrghh! These are the dates that I have heard from other people who recently went to Kap Choeng and I couldn't be bothered to double check which days they fall on as I do not need to go to immigration for some time yet. Anyone who must know the exact dates should call Immigration directly or wait for confirmed postings.

And if same said border point is the location of Buriram Immigration similar to Surin then the casual drop your passport off system will be gone. Same crossing closed to farang for monthsOnly idiots would notrealize there are spys in these markets who get a nice percentage for attempting to smuggle copius litres of vodka in water bottles. The 'speculative " unconfirmed" location would appear to be correct. Not just because glorious google nominates it but because I asked a senior Immigration officer today as to the actual location.

3rd floor in said building in Buriram, opening on the 20th of this month.

And the border crossing for cheap consumables will be a little ( ?) more formal than is currently.
