How can I get rid of search box at bottom of screen?

Featured Replies

Somehow I have put a search box at the bottom of the opening screen. Please see small file attached.

I think it's from Baidu which I don't use and I try to be careful not to ever open it, but somehow...

I've tried to get rid of it but can't. Can someone please advise me..

Thanks.

Right click under the "Address" label text on the toolbar (left margin of blue marker line as seen in your pic).

Then see this and uncheck the "Address" entry.

Menu/Control Panel/Open C. Then find Windows System32, then its Programs. Scroll right down toTask Manager, takes a while then Open it . search for Baddo another long scroll and delete .Gone for GOOD. Its in System 32 no mater what Windows you use. May be easier an way, but thats my way for all rubbish.thumbsup.gif

Baddo ???

It's a standard Windows feature and can simply be unchecked.

I just tried to switch on/off, no prob.

Only the OP can answer how it got checked.

Not on all windows it isnt..I have 7 on this one, dont like the new overclutterd look on the other ones in the office.
