Becker
I need to do a visa run soon from Pattaya and am looking for a reliable company with VIP type minibus and non-insane drivers. Any recommendations are most welcome.
Rob13
DIY. Plane, or bus to Lao. Those big buses are alot more comfortable than a mini-bus.

NoshowJones
Outside Sportsman Pub and Soi 6 , English name Queen Vic or somethingThe girl who runs the visa run place in the Queen Vic, her name is Pa, she is great and helpful, but her staff are dreadful, you try to book up for a visa run and they won't answer your email, you call personally, and ask for Pa, she is not in so you leave a message for her to contact you, she never gets the message. The minibus is great, and comfortable and the drivers excellent.
NoshowJones
I booked up, arrived for my trip the following day, was then told I was not booked, Pa wasn't there. On my way back to my hotel for my proof that I was booked, I was phoned and told "yes you are booked". The staff then complained about me to my friend blaming me. Tagaa
Bus or taxi to Suvarnabhumi, Laos Air flight to Savannahket. About 1 hour in the air. Never understood all the cost, aggravation and discomfort of a long ride in a mini bus driven by a maniac, when you can fly on a French built aircraft, flown by pilots of questionable competence and maintained by mechanics that may not know how to read or have never been exposed to righty tighty, lefty loosey. All in all, it's still safer than a long ride in a minivan or bus. A minivan or bus ride is hours of terror, whereas a plane crash would only be a minute or so, tops. Plus I only know of one Laos Air ATR 72 that crashed. I'm just sayin..... Edited July 21, 2016 by Tagaa
anto
^Laos Air is far too expensive. Nokair and maybe Airasia ? do fly drives to MUCKDAHAN (SP ?) .So you just do about an hour in a van .Usually half empty .

But, the many times i had used them before they were great. My last time using them has put me off using them again. I appreciate it might have been a bad day at the office. Which happens. gk10002000
Been two years now since my last Visa run from Pattaya which I booked with the gals that sat outside the Robin's Nest. Basic, quick in and out mini van. Pick up at like 6 am, back home by 4 PM. Nothing fancy. My latest visa run was from Bangkok using Bangkok buddies. The office manager/lady Tanya is fantastic to deal with. They went to Poi Pet which is knid of OK as you get about one hour in a bigger casino there and lunch. But same thing. Basic in and out run.
