Where to get a Honda Wave key copied?

Featured Replies

I've riding around for a few days thinking I would spot a place but no luck.

Anybody know a locksmith in the Nimmanhaeman area, or anywhere really.

Actually I did stop by the kiosk close to Wat Suan Dok on Suthep, but he wanted 200 baht. I think it was for his trouble in going to pick up the blank. I didn't want to wait and it seemed a bit high.

And as long as I'm thinking about it, I would much appreciate the location of somebody working a sewing machine on the street for some minor repairs. Haven't noticed anybody but I know they are out there.

Thanks!

Keys, most of the big supermarkets have key stalls outside. Tesco Superhighway and Tesco Rimping certainly do.

Clothing repairs, opposite Nana Bakery in Santhitham.

You are one street out!

Go up to Canal Rd, then head south a few hundred metres. Not too far down on your RIGHT is a locksmith, easy to see as he has safes outside.

They made up keys for me in a short time.

I had a motorbike key made a year ago and recall it was about 200 baht. They need a good blank and also have to put in the steel or magnetic pins in the right configuration so that you can open the ignition key lock cover plate. Perhaps if a Honda key blank rather than a generic blank it would be higher.

Key made and the sewing shop across from Nana bakery fixed my bag for the 30 baht and that was great but the best part of that recommendation was that it led me to Nana Bakery in Santhitam. Great!
