Where to buy new screen for Macbook pro 13" Retina Display

Featured Replies

Hi,

I need a new screen for my Macbook Pro, a store in Tuc-com (Pattaya) quoted me 25,000 THB. Does anyone have any recommendations where I get a better price. Looking online they are around 10,000 THB from the US, but obviously I'll then have some lovely import tax to pay on top of that.

Did you look at eBay? I have ordered several parts from dealers located in the USA and have been very happy with what I got, plus I saved tons of money...even with shipping and Customs figured in. Some of them will also be "conservative" on valuing the commercial invoice so that Customs will not soak you. Anyway, I have always had customs duty for parts valued at 5% + VAT on total value. Yes, they even apply VAT to the customs duty.

I always take all my Macs to the same shop in  MBK, 4th floor.  Owner operator speaks good English.  ALwyas been fair.

PM me if you need his contact info.

There is an online shop for Thailand, even in English now. You can put together the MacBook the way you like it, with storage, processor, keyboard etc.

They deliver within a week usually. I have ordered several times, worked fine, never a problem.
