Chicog Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 They confessed to the robbery, saying that they wanted to find money to buy educational resources. Is that a euphemism for mature hookers?
Pattaya28 Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Can they show "educational resources" for the 6,000 that vanished ?
elgordo38 Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 19-year old "boys"?Taking a short cut around the road to success. Hard work.
tandor Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 Can they show "educational resources" for the 6,000 that vanished ? ..admin costs..planning etc. (sorry for the man who was robbed).
IAMHERE Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 Those two boys should have new ID issued with pictures of them in green vests.
SOTIRIOS Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 ...protecting the criminals and the families that spawned them.....??? ...jeez.... ...and these excuses/explanations are too pathetic...... ...a mockery....
lvr181 Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 Damn - my thinking has been compromised. I always thought that the farang male was the ATM not the machine? But I hope the tourist gets his money back. A crime of opportunity that can happen in any country of the world, not just Thailand. These kids should thank their lucky stars (or amulets) they are not living in a devout Muslim country!
lovelomsak Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 Years ago the son of my GF at the time was in Montreal. Used a ATM outside a bank,as soon as the money popped out he was knocked unconcious by someone and woke up in from of ATM money was gone. This crap happens every were. This was 2 pm in the afternoon in day light busy street.
natway09 Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 Yes, you are right, in Saudi they would cut your hand off
The Deerhunter Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 Yes, you are right, in Saudi they would cut your hand off Who? The thieves or the authorities? If the latter, would that be for complaining?
Gonzo the Face Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 Deerhunter, what did you do with the money? If it wasn't you,I would sue somebody..... The forum headline reads " American tourist robbed at ATM by the Deerhunter". ... and if you read something on TV , then you know it must be true .
louse1953 Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 Shariah law please: Chop their hands off ! Is that right ,no alcohol, women covered up from head to toe, have a think about it.Who would pick their nose.
KhonKaenKowboy Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 I would have picked up the smaller one, and used him as a weapon to beat the less smaller one.
jobin Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 Stealing not good but folks here are really getting bent out of shape over US$285. Let's get real, plz. Chopping a hand off for cost of a 'good' bottle of wine seems 'out of shape' to me.
Gillyflower Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 I'm sorry Jobin, but I find US$285 quite a lot of money, and I can buy a good few bottles for that amount, but I agree that cutting off hands is a bit extreme. I can't get the full story, something wrong with the database.

connda Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 They confessed to the robbery, saying that they wanted to find money to buy educational resources. Ha ha ha ha ha....
northernphil Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 Before coming to LoS in 2004 I had never used an ATM . Now I know ATM stands for After Thai Money.
