I have been told the Bars are closed this W,E. if so for what reason, checked on Google says not ?

Sunday they are having the referendum

Voting on the new constitution, surprised your Thai lady friends haven't mentioned it ;) Rather important vote, I would suggest pushing anyone you know to get out and vote. However its illegal to talk about your opinions on the constitution so keep that in mind. 

yes i read that no alcohol sales for 30 hours, i just this minute had a text from a Hilary bar person and she says bar only shut on Saturday,(wonder what is going to happen as they cannot serve alcohol until midnight Sunday) just an observation, it wont worry me as i will be watching British Super Bikes on the telly. she just text again all soi 4 Bangkok open on Sunday ?? brown envelope time ??
