Does anyone know where or if I can source and replace a l/h carbon lever without swapping the entire shifter?

Despite my best efforts at packing the bike was damaged in transit. Luckily it's the left, chain ring and rear brake. I've glued the parts together and been able to ride but I'd hate to use the lever in an emergency. I'm near Khon Kaen at present so not too many hills. The only solution locally is to replace with a pair of 105 shifters.

I'd be grateful for any advise.

What a bummer, and doubly so because Shimano seems to treat assemblies as disposable items. I guess you already know the replacement part no [ but its Y6SC98020 L.H. Main Lever Assembly - assuming yours is a ST-6700 double] or maybe you could get a broken one on eBay and cannibalise  the lever.

Unlike with mtb levers, I don't know of any aftermarket products. Maybe someone else has an idea?

Thanks bobfish. I'm back in UK soon and will keep an eye on EBay. I must admit I'm a bit disappointed with carbon. This is the second failure I've had. Never had a problem with ali.
