Our Toshiba Air-con is dripping condensation. Whenever it happens our service diligently blows out everything but the problem persists.

Pls recommend someone who understands the inner workings of an Air-con

Airport Plaza, on way to moat road, left hand side after Toyota dealer (opposite a large dental offices building) - go through the store to the back where the service dept. is located.

blow in the end of the drip line...but not too hard.  you'll know it's fixed when water comes gushing out.....extremely common repair...extremely easy repair.  If you have a wet/dry vac; you can just use suction on the end of the line.  If it's not dripping out the line in this humidity; you can be about 99% sure it is clogged.

Stiebel Electron tradesman where overhauling the air cons in The Passionate restaurant on Saturday when I had my lunch.

Did a though job, better than the numerous tradesmen who have cleaned my air con over the years.

There's also a foam, do it yourself, type of air canister you can spray at the mesh and coils, and it also suppose to unclog the drain pipe.

While on the topic, which air-con cleaning services actually add some antiseptic addictive (such as dettol perhaps) to the water spray to kill any mold and remove smell?

Seem like the last couple times just water was used and the smell persistent when initially turning on the aircon (a wet sock type of smell).

Vinegar in the condensate line, it would be helpful if the added clean-out access to the lines.  Condensate clogs are a gold mine for the service business.  The wet sock smell will likely subside, if it was cleaned good...especially the filter.  Many hang a little air freshener by the blower.

The OP should also check that the condensation outlet/overflow pipe  has been installed with no "uphill" slopes and no parts of it above the level  of the bottom of the indoor unit.

I've used this guy he is really good. He was even working at Songkran. That is how I found him, he was out fixing the neighbours AC on 13 April. Couldn't believe my luck, I was resigned to finding someone way after Songkran. Took him about an hour to fix and he had the spare part. Good as new. AC has been fine ever since but will definitely call him next time.
