they tried to implement this on 30 July, but they caught holy hell from a lot of retirees that don't have a texting mobile phone.  As you might imagine, some of the quotes were pretty humorous.  Of course, they wouldn't text a non US country code...but there were plenty of folks in the US complaining.  I just logged in...no VPN required.  They did notify me by email, that they backpedaled....so really no excuse for them to not have an email address for you.

I have no idea what this is about, but it doesn't seem to be anything to do with Chiang Mai, or am I missing something?
