Netflix U.S.A.

Has anyone attempted to use buffered VPN from http://buffered.com to access Netflix's full video library? The company is based in Budapest. I'm reluctant to purchase their service using Visa. I'm not going to renew my ExpressVPN service, since it's blocked by Netflix.

Has anyone successfully used a Smart VPN to access Netflix's full video library? Is yes, what service provider are you using?

I had been using HideMyAss for years and had great service.  However, when Netflix began blocking all their servers, I stopped subscribing to HMA.  Best to do some research online and pay for a monthly service only-not a year in advance.  Please post if you have success.

Thanks for your input. I hoping someone has already found the definitive solution. Perhaps it's a hopeless endeavor.

Why use NetFlix? There's free websites where you can watch the most recent movies, any TV Series you can think of as well as any sporting event live (even free PPV events) without the need of a VPN or anything else except an Internet connection.

It's nice to get your feedback. If you recommend alternation solution, please provide website information.

Often people will search various website and there all bogus. I'm not a secret squirrel. If I have useful information, I will gladly share it with everyone.

Thanks for your feedback.

I listen to Pandora with "Betternet" free version...I also read Andrew Drummond with it.  I know there are some popular series on NF...the latest being "The Get Down," which might not be as exciting if you've actually witnessed african-americans burning their own neighborhoods before.  The streaming movie selection is weak.  Pirate Bay is still running fine..I got complete season 3 of Alfred Hitchcock in about an hour...like 30 episodes.  Not legal, but neither is scamming Netflix or ESPN.  Youtube is hard to beat for price/quality/speed..especially for music and documentaries.....some good stuff on youtube here that's not on youtube US.  Too many porn sites to count that aren't blocked here.  "Tokyo Hunter," lol, name of a Thai pornstar (I think).

Examples, please?

Okay, I'll give you one. The rest you'll have to find on your own as the more that know the lower the bandwidth goes...  :P

Try this site for every TV series you can imagine.....  Much better than downloading torrents from PirateBay...  :cheesy:

As others have said, there are apps, programs, website for just about any content you can think of, some of them are pretty consistent, others will be running for a month then get shutdown, moved, blocked etc.

I use a Program called Kodi, win, android, mac etc. It has 100s of addons for all sorts of content. The good thing is, if the content gets moved, blocked, shutdown etc, the people who write the addon do an update and it keeps working.

Late to this thread...but what the heck.

I use Witopia for my VPN server, and when Netflix was blocked, I chatted with them online about the issue.  They advised me to change my my server city from San Francisco to Austin, TX.  Problem solved.  I talked to anoth expat with the same problem, different VPN service.  He contacted them, and received a similar work-around.

I also have kept my Amazon Prime account for two reasons: I use the free shipping at least once a year to send stuff to someone in the US who's coming to Chiang Mai--and I get my fix of art supplies, makeup, bras, etc.. Also the free movies with prime, and great music selection make it worthwhile--for now.

i also have to give a shout out to the moviesub website--a truly free, no registration required site with tons of movies and TV shows.  Love that site.

Also, I have family in the States with Showtime on their cable account.  I can access Showtime here by going into the Showtime app, and entering  their own email and password.  The same info allows me to directly access the major US channels.

And better yet--PBS, National Geo and Smithsonian are all free!

And I agree with another poster here--tons of great stuff on YouTube--no VPN required.

Last, I use an IPad.  I bought a used Apple TV from a nice family on CM Community Classifieds.  I can now use the VPN to get into Netflix/Amazon and "mirror" to my big TV.  Truly the best 2,500 baht I have ever spent!

Hope this helps.

Yepper, moviesub is one of the many that I use to watch free movies (classics as well as recent releases) all with no cost and no VPN needed.......  There are others out there as well.

Cheers....
