September 5, 20169 yr OHEC empowered to ensure tertiary programs meet standards BANGKOK, 5 September 2016 (NNT)-The National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) has empowered the Office of the Higher Education Commission (OHEC) to investigate universities to see whether their academic programs are verified before they enroll students. Speaking during the weekly program ‘Thailand Moves Forward’, OHEC Secretary-General Arporn Kaenwong said the OHEC will be able to probe the management of all universities to ensure they adhere to educational standards and abide by good principles of governance. The OHEC will also be able to terminate any tertiary program it deems sub-standard or order the university to improve its program to meet the requirements. The OHEC Secretary-General claimed the strengthened role of her office was intended not only to provide a good education but also to produce new graduates who will be highly capable and wanted by most employers. Ms. Arporn cited the need for universities in Thailand to constantly improve in order to move the country towards the 4.0 era. -- nnt 2016-09-05

September 5, 20169 yr Really down to curriculum assessments....and more importantly, having competent personnel doing this to modern, international standards.....and...maybe the current standards are completely obselete.

Should you reread my comment, it states, "May I say that your comment is needless as you fail to use correct grammar and punctuation." That is not a question and I would like to point out that you, in return left a double space between "...something, a question..." and left 3 spaces between, "...perhaps ?" and your question mark. Therein is a lesson, make sure that what you say or write is correct before commenting.
