Can somebody recommend a place to repair a Canon E510 printer? The paper won't feed, even when I try to gently help it...

Any suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks :wai:

Most places have a Tukom IT mall, and Tukom IT mall has a printer and ink floor. Dependent on the model , fault etc, it often works out more economical to buy a new one.

I here what you're saying about buying a new one. The price of printers is almost the same price as the ink. Recently paid 1,000 baht for ink (color & black) for the printer, couldn't believe how the prices have shot up...

OIC ground floor, near the stairs, at Panthip Plaza. If just small problem, they will often fix for free ... hoping you will come back to buy cartridges one day,

has it been raining a lot lately where you live?

printers don't like moist paper. put 30 or so sheets on the dashboard of your car for a while, do the 'thumb - cinema' thing immediately before you try to print, and try again.

if the feed really is broken, i suggest to buy a new printer (see post #3)

I have a Canon MG3100 printer/copier/scanner. I bought it 4 years ago. I had ink tanks installed on the side. I print a lot. I would say the tanks have saved me 5 – 10 thousand baht. Recently, it stopped taking paper. I took it the shop on the first floor at the back of the computer plaza on the north side of the moat (7-11 next door). They replaced the rollers for 600 baht. Works fine.
