Import Chinese Goods Into Thailand

Recommended Posts

You need a good shipping agent. If the goods originate in China then be sure to get a Form E to take advantage of the FTA if possible.

To do this you will need a registered company. You may find someone who will deal with it on your behalf, but it is such a lot of hassle don't expect it to be cheap.

We recently spent about 15-20 hours work to get a simple product into Thailand from China. Bit if a nightmare really.

You will still have to pay handling, some customs charges and VAT.

We bring a lot of stuff in from China. It gets bigger every year as more and more Thai manufacturers shut down or move.

Blackcab has it exactly right on the Form E program. You need to first determine that your Chinese vendor can provide a Form E, many if not most of them cannot.

PM me if you want more info.
