Phuket power cables catch fire as heavy rain falls

PHUKET: -- Officials from the Phuket Provincial Electricity Authority (PPEA) are investigating how electrical cables caught fire in front of the Muang Mai building on Thepkrasattri Rd in Rassada yesterday morning (Sept 7).

 

The power cables caught at 10am. Kusoldharm rescue workers arrived soon after and took 30 minutes to put the fire out.

 

“The fire damaged the pylon and several electrical and communications cables.

Couple of weeks ago a pole at the end of road had oneof the communications boxes go on fire. Took out all the cables.

.... and the connection between the two events is  what, exactly?  I wasn't aware that the PEA was involved in constructing railways- would you like to expand on 'they' or can we just draw the conclusion that you are generalising.
