WeTV Cable & Internet

Featured Replies

Just wanted to mention that WeTV (basic cable TV) also offers cable Internet that's actually quite a good deal.

Installation is really quick, they just run a cable from the road into your house and that's it.

I'm not too big on TV, just having a couple news channels is convenient, plus some cartoons when you need to park the kids in front of the TV really works just fine and for everything else there's Internet.  So you get TV and Internet together for about 800 Baht a month.

So far so good.

What were the installation cost and what area are you living in?

Also is cable already installed in you area?

Do they have the cables laid in and around NongKwai (near HangDong)?

Around Hang Dong: Some areas they do and others not, so best to ask.

The one I had installed had installation costs of 400-something Baht, and this was downtown near the moat.

Not sure if this still applies but about 3 years ago we dropped into the WE TV Office in CM  and enquired about getting their service.

The receptionist went to her computer, brought up the page, which indicated their coverage and unfortuantly while it came up Hang Dong Rd it didnt divert to our Wangtan village.

I would presume you can still do this rather than a phone call. You can look over her shoulder while she is searching.took our help to locate our Soi.

Good luck.
