Biscotti - Top Notch Cafe/Bakery in Mae Rim

Featured Replies

I had driven past a neat looking cafe/bakery called Biscotti several times and I finally managed to call in and check it out  yesterday. Well, what a pleasant surprise. There was a large selection of coffee and cakes and other deserts. I had a Latte and a Coconut cake - just as I usually do in Starbucks and they were both great. The missus had a peach cake and enjoyed it so much she bought an extra one to take home. I bought a Quiche Lorraine to take home and it was top quality.

The missus asked about ordering whole pies and cakes and the owner appeared from the kitchen to have a chat. I thought she was Thai as they chatted away in Thai, but after we left,  the wife said she wasn't Thai. She might be from Korea, but wherever she is from, she really knows her stuff.

Finally, I have an alternative to Starbucks on the north side of town.

Yes. I found that out after becoming a regular. The wife can't do without her carrot cakes from Biscotti. The hot Latte I used to rave about from Starby's just does not taste the same any more after being weened onto the Biscotti Latte.

There seem to be a lot of westerners going in there, so she has obviously been popular for some time..... and deservedly so.

I think she will soon be selling Strawberries from my wife's farm, so now there's even more reason for me to go there.
