200kg British National Found Dead in Guesthouse Bathroom

PATTAYA:-- At 10pm, on the evening of September 23, Pattaya police received reports of a dead body in a Soi Buakow guesthouse, Pattaya.

Medics there discovered the body of British national Micheal Sodent (54) lying face-down on the bathroom floor.

There were no injuries to his body and no obviously signs of a struggle. Medics estimated the time of death to be around 7pm.

A maid said that Mr Sodent, who weighed in at around 200kg, was a regular in a beer bar downstairs who often invited women to his room.

She said that yesterday she did not see him in the usual places and so went to knock on his door.

Receiving no answer she used the spare key and discovered his body.

The police have said that as he was naked, he must have ‘finished his activity with a woman’ then gone into the bathroom where he had a heart attack.

The body has been sent for autopsy to establish the cause of death.

There were no injuries to his body and no obviously signs of a struggle. Case already solved.

We'll never find out if somebody has "helped a little bit" that the poor guy died.

And the "200 kg" headline is really insane.

It's worth to have a look at "farangdeath:"http://www.farang-deaths.com/

Usually - why do you get dressed after sex to go to the bathroom  :shock1:

I happen to go naked to the bathroom also without having had sex, but may be you shower with your clothes on, or maybe only shower when have had sex?

Your attempt to drum up a bit of mischief with your "200kg headline insanity" and "helped a little" comments is unworthy.

Any doctor will tell you a human heart has the job in front of it trying to keep a 200kg middle aged body alive and moving. It would not be unreasonable to believe that post-coital stress may have been the cause.

They may have to dismember this guy to get him out of the building.

200-kg ? I guess Americans are not the only ones with obesity problems.

Frequently brought women up to his room? Those poor girls certsinly earned their wages.

just for information they had to get a five ton lorry and a crane to remove a 250kg malaysian from his house to the hospital.

And his weight was necessary details critical to the newsworthiness of this reported event. Carry on Thai media...

Maybe yes, maybe no. As other posters have alluded to, if he actually weighed 200kg he could have dropped dead at any time. That's a ridiculous strain on the old ticker 24/7. Such a level of morbid obesity could well have a significant bearing on his demise.

Looking at the photos and seeing an open pack of condoms, 2 or 3 shorts glasses - I kinda think the weight comes in to play - that said, it wasn't his first sexual encounter with women from the bar, so who really knows.

Could have been drugged and the girl gave him enough tranquilisers for an elephant as he was a big guy... or it just might have been his time

R.I.P. to the unfortunate man, but it seems there may have been a major error in leading with his alleged weight.

Look at the news story link and tell us that he was really 200 kg.

Now a 100 kg. western person is extremely common, but a 200 kg. much more rare.

In fact based on typical male height, 100 kg. would be an obese BMI (not morbidly obese) and comprise a significant percentage of modern western populations.

No dignity in death in this country, huh?
