Cold spell is coming, signalling the start of tourism season in North

Featured Replies

Need to wear jeans and jumper on occasional early mornings here but not cold during the day (I hate the cold) but there are hundreds of resorts hoping the report is right. Off to Oz next week to buy some winter clothing to be prepared as it was down to 5C last February in the morning.

Went to my in-laws house in Chiang Dao during the 'winter/cold season' a few years back.  Woke up in the AM and you could see your breath so I would guess below 10c/50f.  I wore a light long sleeve jacket, shorts, and sandals driving the motor bike around town until about 9am.  Then the jacket came off.  Everyone else was bundled up like we were in Siberia.
