Street vendors in Ari gone?

Featured Replies

I'm not in bkk right now, but I read that as part of the vendor crackdown Ari has been cleared also. Anyone know how many are gone?

It's a pity if it's true, the area wasn't crowded and there was a lot of good/convenient stalls around the bts and soi aree.

No change in Ari at all, or the market on Soi Ari 1or even across Phaholyothin from the BTS station to the the old Villa near Soi 8. I agree, the stalls are convenient and not too intrusive like the mess on Sukhumvit or Siam Square.

Guess I spoke too soon. As of today Soi Ari looks the same but they've cleared out all the stalls under the BTS station on Phaholyothin.
