Has anyone got married at the District Office in Pattaya? Is it easier there, as many farangs live there?

The procedure and paperwork all seem pretty complicated.

You have to go to your embassy first --contact them and they will give you all the details first. Once you get all your paperwork done in Bangkok, getting married at any amphur should be quite straight forward.

Highly suggest you hire an agency who point you in right direction when you have to do something, like go to your embassy, and will take care of everything else.
