no, he was only officially in charge of the troops who killed all those Thai civilians...

Seriously, have you got two cells to rub together?

And Interestingly enough, the demand of the red shirts was immediate elections, before the occurrence of a certain nomination at a very critical post..... :)

BANGKOK: -- THE CRIMINAL Court revoked red-shirt leader Jatuporn Prompan’s release on bail yesterday due to his allegedly “provocative and offensive” comments on TV and in the press, which according to the court defamed third parties, affected the public and breached bail conditions.

Jatuporn was taken to the Bangkok Remand Prison immediately after the verdict was announced. The court, however, upheld the release on bail of four other key figures.

According to the petition, the five were accused of breaching their bail conditions, which banned provocative activity that could hurt the public's feelings or damage a third party's reputation.

The third party in this case was the Junta, ....

Wonder why his bail was revoked... ? :whistling:

When red-shirts, in the court room began to cry in response to the verdict, Nattawut urged them not to panic,

Unbelievable that some people could be so brainwashed.

How long will he be inside this time ?

This could be a golden opportunity for the red shirts to start afresh and scout around for someone with at least half a brain to represent them.

At least they turned up instead of getting their lawyers to cite sickness or mental health issues or some such rubbish.

Are we talking bout our beloved law abiding monks by any chance?  ??

IMO that all of the politicians here are the same underneath. It is just that this guy doesn't have the suits, bank accounts, or the connections. So he looks more like a thug.

Nothing much wrong with Jatuporn which sets him apart from every other Thai. And when the flood comes, the Reds are going to need a thug at the top. Someone with enough chutzpah to shake them out of their apathy and complacency.

Tida and Weng just not up to the job that needs doing. Jatuporn and Nattawut may be. An iron fist in an iron glove is what's needed now. The time for diplomacy and 'softly softly catchee monkey is long since gone.

Ugh, and  the idiot brigade  of TVF rallies once again. Unable to support  a despotic military administration it ruches to launch attacks on a marginalized working class hero. As has been stated multiple times, nice way to make him a martyr hero. Meanwhile the  evil manipulative Suthep clamn is back doing what it does best.

We will soon have some much bigger issues to deal with and frankly, I don't like what I see.

Me too. Head down, bum up, mouth shut. The best way when the khee interfaces with the padlom. As I believe it will. The old pressure cooker is starting to shake, hence the police and troops on the streets. Bomb threat my left buttock.

Khaiosod English reports "His lawyer, Winyat Chartmontree, said they will propose warranty in order to seek for the court’s approval to a temporary release in two weeks."

So the answer looks like, potentially, not long.

He's been in and out so often the prison they use must have a revolving door.

I agree, the pressure is beginning to build, stoked by the actions of the junta, who almost seem to be picking a fight.

Of course they probably have a much clearer idea of the timeliness for future events than any other party.

Incidentally, may I enquire why anyone would wish to blow up that particular part of your anatomy?

Welcome back Khun Jatuporn, your usual room is ready for you, will you be staying long ?

This guy incited a riot and mob that set fire to the World Trade Center and a TV station. I'd lock him up and throw away the key, never to heard from again. I'm tired of reading about him in the news. He's done nothing for Thailand.

AFAIK detention is for investigation while a case is being investigated. Try a different form of incarceration, remand. His case has been investigated and charges laid, remand with bail denied means you stay in jail until your case is heard.

I doubt the authority will want to subject him to arbitrary detention until the case is heard. That will go against some serious international human right violation. The case was postponed time and time again and the authority will face the legality if his deprivation of liberty. He will be out soon. Watch the space.

Was that riot before or after the troops started firing live rounds. Just asking.

He certainly isn't "poor" either, although looking like a thug isn't unreasonable.

Neither has he ever been elected. "Mysteriously appointed a red shirt leader, party list MP.

Same same but different.

He certainly "inflamed" the situation that led to the firing of live rounds from both sides.

Now remind us, how was he elected to lead the red shirts? Democratically?

Rubbish. He was out on bail and frequently broke the bail conditions. The authorities previously ignored it. Many posters on here were wondering why. Now they've acted.

You want to apply HR when this is a simple legal issue of someone breaking their bail conditions.

Newsflash - no one outside Thailand gives a <deleted> about this moron. Most see him for what he is.

Sent from my iPad using Thaivisa Connect

A never elected undemocratic thug hired to further the interests of a political faction owned by a criminal patriarch of a family noted their activities.

Sure,  Thailand needs plenty more like him.

Next you'll be saying he really is interested in democracy.

A lot more cells than you by the content of your posts!

Of course Jatuporn was just the rent a mouth for someone more senior, the paymaster who makes all decisions. Democrats - yeah right. You should use your double digit IQ for once.

Do you deny the role of Japtuporn in the videos where he incites illegal riot, arson and violence? Do you deny the objective was to restore the criminal Thaksin to power?

Kind of words against bullets and you are an advocate.

Why the sudden interest in election and democracy.

Some only believe what they want to believe. That's why there are laws against free speech and investigation anything in Thailand. information and discussion is always under the police and military thugs watch. They fear the truth. It's really that simple. It's hard to break the cult members from their beliefs especially when lies are propagated by the people who control everything.

You don't know what the truth is, you only believe what your red master tells you.
